Help bring even more business to Virginia and join your local beer community this August to celebrate. ![]() Customers who covet diversity and fresh flavors in their beer choices are growing in numbers. Even large national beer brands have noticed our love for craft beer, choosing to set up their East Coast satellite locations in our commonwealth. Since that time, Virginia has broke triple digits for breweries that have opened and started pouring delicious libations. And we are not alone: in 2012 Governor McDonnell signed a bill naming August as Virginia Craft Beer Month. In five short years we have jumped from an area with two breweries to twenty and counting. We love Triple Crossing for its world class, straight forward IPAs and accessible price point (Triple Crossing is, on average, cheaper than either Veil or Vasen). The Richmond area’s cup is over flowing with love of local beer. House made pizzas and other shareable bites are available at both locations. ![]() Triple Crossing also has a large list of less-hoppy beers with top-notch German-style pilsners, lagers, and ales, as well as a consistent stable of stouts. ![]() When many IPAs are a mashed-up blend of different hops, it’s an interesting experience to sample brews focused on one varietal and taste the subtle differences between each. For example, Mosaic Triangles was crafted to highlight Mosaic hopes, Citra Triangles highlighted Citra hops…I think you get the point. Recently, their Triangles series focused on hop-specific brews, highlighting the different flavors and characteristics of specific hop varietals. Expect bold hops, layers of citrus, and pillowy mouthfeel throughout their lineup of IPAs. Their flagship IPA, Falcon Smash, is consistently a hit and their rotating selections of other IPAs never disappoint. Triple Crossing produces the best juicy IPAs in the area, and likely some of the best in the country. Location: the main brewery is located in Fulton, a smaller tasting room is located downtown ![]()
